1. Can I place an order without creating an account?

No, there is currently no way of placing an order if you don't have Geocaching Shop Ireland account.

2. I have forgotten my password.

If you don't remember your password, click on "log in" or "My Account".

Click on "Forgotten password" and you will be prompted to enter your email address.

Within 30 minutes you should receive an email from Geocaching Shop Ireland with a link to renew the password.

3. Can I cancel part of my order?

Please contact our customer support team for further information.

4. The price of a product have been lowered after I have placed my order.

Prices on the Geocaching Shop Ireland website change on a daily basis depending on a range of different factors.

The actual price when placing an order is the price agreed upon. Geocaching Shop Ireland does not refund price differences.

Please note that if a price is obviously incorrect due to technical or human error, Geocaching Shop Ireland will cancel your order.

5. How do I cancel my order?

Unfotunately there is no direct way of cancelling your order, so please be mindful when placing it. However if you would like to cancel it, please use contact form and let us know as soon as possible.

Please note:

 Orders already dispatched can’t be cancelled.

All PayPal’s return fees will be covered by customer.

6. What is the current status of my order?

You can check the current status of your order on your GCSI& My account.

1. Log on to your GeoCachingShopIreland.com.
2. Click on 'My Account' on your upper right.
3. Click on View your order history on the left.
4. Select the order you want more details about and click on ‘View’ icon.

From here you can see the current status of the order.

7. How can I be sure that your website is secured for online payments?

When paying with card, your transaction is fully secured through encryption (SSL). Your bank details remain fully confidential throughout the transaction and are never in Geocaching Shop Ireland’s possession.

Upon payment, the padlock symbol or the key symbol in your browser will tell you that you have a secure connection.

8. From where are your items shipped?

All items sold by Geocaching Shop Ireland.com are shipped from our warehouse located in Ireland.

9. Can i collect my order?

Geocaching Shop Ireland doesn’t have retails store but due to high demand from local geocachers we made Free Order Collection possible.

We can meet at below locations on Wednesday or during Weekends at agreed times.

  • Lucan - Penny Hill Pub - link to location
  • Phoenix Park – The Papal's Cross Car Park - link to location

If you would like to collect your order please select:

  1. "Deliver Method" to - Pickup From Store
  2. If you wish you can pick "Payment Method" - Pay at collection

Please contact us payments@geocachingshopireland.com or leave the comment during checkout process with your availability, we will get back to you and organize collection. If you won’t contact us in 2 days your order will be automatically cancelled.

Orders not paid and not collected for more than week will be automatically cancelled.


10. Can I have my order delivered to a different address than my invoice address?

Yes. When placing your order, you can choose the delivery address and carrier. To modify an address, just click on 'I want to use new address' under the delivery details.

If you choose home delivery, remember to provide all necessary details, for example door code to your apartment building.

Please note that you cannot choose a delivery address located in another country.


11. How much are the shipping fees?

The cost of shipping fees depends on the chosen delivery method. Geocaching Shop Ireland uses AnPost Standard or Registered service.

If you click on 'Shopping Cart' in the upper right corner, you will see a summary of all the items that are currently in your cart. You can check Shipping fees by clicking at “Estimate Deliver Cost”

12. When will I receive my order?

Geocaching Shop Ireland will do our best to process and ship your order as soon as possible. It takes 2-3 working days.

Delivery time depends on the chosen delivery method, it is handled by AnPost and it is outside our control.

If you live in a remote area, the time frame might be increased.

13. My parcel was damaged during transport.

If your order is damaged upon receipt, please contact our customer support team and inform us about the situation. You will need to provide the following pictures by email:
- Picture of the parcel (full view)
- Picture of the damage on the parcel (close-up)

If you discover the damage after you have accepted and signed for your parcel, please contact our customer support team immediately. You will need to provide the following pictures by email:

- Picture of the product (full view)
- Picture of the damage on the product (close-up)
- Picture of the parcel (full view)
- Picture of the damage on the parcel (close-up)

We will investigate the issue; we require the above pictures in order to open the investigation. Refunds can be issued or products can be reshipped 48 hours after the investigation has been opened.

14. I'm not happy with my product. Can I return the product and exchange it to another item?

We do not exchange products. If you are not fully satisfied with a product and want to return it, we can only offer a refund. You may then place a new order for another product.

15. I am not satisfied with my product. What is your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with a product you purchased from Geocaching Shop Ireland, you are legally entitled to return it to us within 14 calendar days of receipt under the Right of Withdrawal.

- Geocaching Shop Ireland will issue a refund for the item.
- Returns shipping is not refundable, they are at the customer's expense.
- Items are to be returned to our warehouse in Ireland (we will provide detailed address).
- Items are to be returned complete and in good condition, in their original packaging and including all accessories. Returns are inspected.

16. I have received a non-compliant or faulty product.

If an item is faulty or does not correspond to the advertised specifications, you can arrange a return yourself directly on Geocaching Shop Ireland website.

17. How do I return a product?

1. Log on to your Geocaching Shop Ireland.
2. Click on 'Your orders' on your left pane, and 'View order history' and View specific order.
3. Click on green arrow beside product.
4.  Fill in all necessary details, Reason for Return if Product is opened and provide a fault description. Click Continue.

When returning an item for refund or exchange, the item must be returned complete and in good condition (including original packaging).
